Three injured are in serious condition.
On Saturday’s explosion at the Bar in the Spanish capital Madrid, 21 people suffered injuries, three of which are in serious condition, the Spanish rescue services said. According to AFP and Reuters reports, TASR reports this.
The explosion occurred at approximately 3 pm (CEST) in the district of Vallecas in the south of the capital. Firefighters who cleaned the debris intervened on the spot, announced the Madrid rescue services in the X -platform post, where they also shared shots of a partially collapsed bar and bricks scattered on the ground. The door of the company was torn out of the hinges and shards of the glass scattered on the road, while the rescuers carried one of the victims on the stretcher, writes AFP.
The emergency services said that the rescue services were treated by 21 people, with three people in “serious” and two in “potentially serious” condition. They added that the authorities also deployed search dogs and drones during the intervention.
The cause of the explosion is not yet known.
