Former President Jair Bolsonaro arrived at DF Star Hospital in Brasilia, where he will perform medical procedures in the morning. He is accompanied by two of his children, councilors Renan and Carlos Bolsonaro. Upon arrival did not interact with a group of supporters waiting for him on the spot.
The displacement to the hospital was authorized by the Supreme Court Minister (STF) Alexandre de Moraes. He was escorted by criminal police from the Federal District.
Bolsonaro will remove a “melanocytic nevo from the trunk”, a spot that is usually benign, and the material will be sent to biopsy.
According to the medical request attached to the process, the former president should be “outpatient regime, expected to discharge on the same day”. Within 48 hours, Bolsonaro will have to deliver a medical certificate reporting the details of the procedures.
