On Saturday afternoon (13), residents of various localities of Acre faced interruptions in the supply of electricity. The problem, recorded around 1 pm, temporarily affected the daily life of residential and commercial consumers.

According to Energisa’s note, the concessionaire responsible for the state service, the failure was not originated in the company’s network. The interruption was caused by instability in the National Interconnected System (SIN), which affect the supply in various regions of the country in an interdependent way.

After identifying the problem, Energisa called the National Electric System Operator (ONS), which authorized the normalization of the supply. In less than 40 minutes, the energy has been restored in all affected areas, avoiding higher inconvenience to the population.
