(Bloomberg) – The Trump government is requesting the Congress $ 58 million to reinforce the security of the Executive and Judiciary after the fatal shooting of the conservative figure Charlie Kirk, according to a White House authority heard by Bloomberg.
The request to include extra financing in a next provisional bill occurs before the deadline of September 30, when the current federal spending law expires. Punchbowl News was the first to report the financing request.
The government also signaled support for the expansion of resources to protect parliamentarians, although it has left the details of this decision to the Legislature, the portal said.
