The IT sector in the Republic of Moldova has transformed into a real success story, says Natalia Bejan, the director of the investment agency.
Invited to the show “Consens national” from Rlive TV, she stressed that the field remains a priority in the country’s development strategies.
“In eight years since we have Moldova IT Park, the number of employees in this sector has increased more than six times. We have increased from 2500 employees in the IT sector, to over 24 thousand employees today. And more impressive is the salary they have. On average one of the employees has a net salary of 2000 euros per month. declared Bejan.
She added that the authorities offer companies from IT state guarantees for ten years, which means that an investor who now comes to the Republic of Moldova has the certainty of a stable fiscal regime until 2035.
The statements were made in the context of launching the 10th anniversary edition of Moldova Business Week 2025, which starts today at. The event brings together hundreds of business people and has as central theme the message “Moldova is open for business / Moldova is open for business”.
During the five days, the participants will discuss the digitalization of public services, the development of Moldova IT Park and the support policies for the industrial sectors. The event is organized by the investment agency, together with its partners.
