The former Civil Police General, Ruy Ferraz Fontes, 63, was shot dead on Monday (15), in, on the coast of São Paulo. The attack occurred near the city’s forum. Sources was in a vehicle that tried to escape when attacked, but was hit by rifle shots, overturned and collided with a bus.
In a video, you can see two criminals get out of a car and open fire against the vehicle where the former delegate was. After the shots, the suspects fled the scene. It was triggered and confirmed the death on site. Check out the moment:
Also according to official information, two men with firearm injuries were taken to the emergency room of the Quieitude neighborhood. So far, there is no confirmation about their involvement in the murder. Special forces such as Route, COE and GIRL were mobilized to the region, where they located vehicles with tampered plates, as well as porters and rifle ammunition.
Ruy Ferraz Fontes currently held the position of Secretary of Administration of the City Hall of Praia Grande, a function assumed in January 2023. In a statement, the municipal administration regretted the death and reported that the investigation of the case is under the responsibility of the public security bodies.
