Tyler Robinson, the 22 -year -old accused of his assassination, is expected to be presented today in a Utah court to face official charges, which may even include preliminary preliminary homicide.

Robinson was arrested after a manhunt and official documents will be released after a press conference given by County Prosecutor Jeff Gre.

The 22 -year -old is also going to appear in court for the first time today, Tuesday, where the charges will be brought, with the possibility of following federal prosecutions, according to US Deputy Attorney General Tod Blanche. The procedure is expected to take place via teleconference.

The charges are recited while the investigating authorities continue to collect data and investigate whether the suspect acted alone or as a group of group. It is not excluded that federal charges of hate crimes be followed.

Motive has not been officially revealed, but TEI Di Vans said that “the left -wing ideology” was a “part of the speech” for which Kerk was murdered, without any evidence.

Was obsessed with Kerk the perpetrator

“Information was found, an exchange of messages, where the suspect specifically said that he had the opportunity to” get out of the middle “Charlie Kerk and that he intended to do so,” FBI director Ms Patel said.

Patel also revealed that the DNA of the suspect allegedly used in the murder, as well as a screwdriver found on the roof where Robinson was believed to have shot.

In a separate statement, FBI deputy director Dan Bongino said that Robin was allegedly “obsessed” with Kerk, citing his digital footprint that showed “multiple warning signs”.

“His colleagues said he was moving away from discussions when the policy issue was coming,” he added, noting that the FBI was considering whether there was an earlier knowledge of his intentions without informing the authorities.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox has pledged to pursue the death penalty for the alleged Kerk’s murderer, but state Attorney General Derek Brown said that “prosecutors continue to collect data”.

What will judge the death penalty?

Utah’s legislation stipulates that in order to pursue the death penalty one of four “aggravating factors” must be found: the existence of multiple victims, targeting a police or public officer, crime by crime along with another serious crime such as abduction or abduction.

“It is obviously part of Utah’s legislation,” Brown said, “it’s an option, but I can’t say if he will play a role in this case.” He added, however, that the charges can also be amended to a decision to pursue the death penalty “could be taken at a later stage”.
