Filming began on May 24, 2017, the day when an operation of the Civil and Military Police left ten landless land workers killed in the municipality of Pau d’Arco (PA).
The film followed the survivors and the lawyer of the case, revealing possible attempt to silence witnesses and cover up the crime, which remains unpunished today.
The film was included in and confirmed for the Rio Festival in October. Since his debut in April at the festival is all true, “Pau d’Arco” has won seven awards.
