Latvia continues to support Ukraine and supplied another batch of armored personnel carriers.
Latvia delivered another shipment of armored wheeled transporters to Ukrainian armed forces. This was announced on Tuesday by the Latvian Ministry of Defense, but without giving their number, TASR reports according to the DPA report.
Skills of 15 such vehicles Ukraine already in July handed over to Latvian Prime Minister Evika Siliňová during a visit to Kiev.
These are 6×6 transporters, which are produced at the Finnish manufacturer’s plant in Latvia. Riga wants to supply them up to 42 this year.
The Latvian government plans to provide Kiev and drones and other military equipment totaling EUR 70 million and train 4,000 Ukrainian soldiers. Latvia, which is adjacent to Russia and its ally Belarus, is one of the most appropriate supporters of Ukraine defining the invasion of Russian forces.
