New round of the genius research quaest released on Wednesday (17) shows that 31% of Brazilians evaluate the government as positive. The value is the, released in August. The percentage of those who consider negative management was 39% to 38%; Of those who see it as regular, from 27% to 28%. They follow not knowing how to answer 3%.
There were 2,004 in -person interviews over 16 years old in 120 municipalities distributed throughout the country, between September 12 and 14. The global survey error margin is two percentage points, more or less.
They are approving Lula () 46%, and 51%, disapproving. The most favorable management level continues in the Northeast (60%), among those who attended the elementary school (56%), over 60 years old (53%), which receive up to two minimum wages (54%) and Catholics (51%). The government still has more difficulty in containing the disapproval of voters from the South (60%), with income greater than five minimum wages (60%) and evangelicals (61%).
When asked if the petista government is better, equal or worse than expected, 50% respond to it is worse. The index was 45% in May. They evaluate as equal 27%, a portion that fell by 36%. Those who consider the management better than expected are 21%, compared to 16% in May. In the same month, 78% thought that Lula should make a government different from what was being executed, and 17% equal. Now 76% are those who believe a change would be better, against 21% that they think the government should continue as it is.
The percentage of those who believe that the country is going to the right direction remained in the 36% of the August survey. Those who think the opposite were 57% to 58%. Those who do not know are 6%.
Already 61% of voters think that Lula lost their connection with the people, and 35% disagree. The variations are within the margin of error regarding what was recorded in May.
Lula is well-intended for 49% of people, and 46% say they believe in the opposite. In July, there were 45% those who had faith in the petista’s good intentions, against 49% of those who saw the opposite. The delivery of campaign promises is seen by 30%, while 67% believe that the government has not fulfilled what it has promised.
The government’s most popular program is, with 89% approval, 6% disapproval and 5% ignorance. The most experts are the least popular: 80% do not know public policy. Tax increases for super rich is disapproved for 20%, the highest resistance between 13 listed programs. The initiative has 34% of ignorance and 46% approval.
Social programs are rights in the conception of 65% of respondents, and 29% disagree. In March, there were 51% those who believed in the validity of the statement, and 42% those who saw the opposite. The fear of losing social benefits affects 28% of Brazilians.
When asked what news has seen about the Lula administration, 45% of Brazilians say they are mostly negative, and 27%, positive. The values in July were, respectively, 52% and 22%. Have not seen news 25%.
Among the positive news, the expansion of social programs (7%) and the challenge to the US President (6%) on the imposition of tariffs between the two countries are the most cited. Already among the negatives, the crisis of the INSS (National Institute of Social Security) (9%), increased inflation (8%) and the tax imposed by the US (7%).
