Head of State said that the ABC chain is “democratic garbage,” referring to the Democratic Party
United States President Donald Trump criticized American television chain ABC for “returning his job” to humorist Jimmy Kimmel.
Through a message broadcast on social networks, the head of state said that the ABC chain is “democratic garbage,” referring to the Democratic Party.
The statements of the US president occurred after Jimmy Kimmel returned to the program spread at night after ABC suspended him last week due to comments about Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk, 31, founder of the Turning Point USA movement, linked to the American ultra-conservative right, used the millions of followers on social networks and universities speeches to defend Donald Trump with younger populations.
Kirk was shot murdered last September 10.
On Tuesday night, humorist Jimmy Kimmel apologized but criticized Donald Trump for “not accepting jokes.”
“We cannot allow our government to control what we say and what we do not say on television,” Kimmel said on the return to the ABC program on Tuesday night.
“I can’t believe ABC ‘fake news’ (‘fake news’) has returned to Jimmy Kimmel’s job. ABC had reported to the White House (US presidency) that the program was canceled! Something happened between this time and now, because his audience is over, never had talent,” Trump wrote in the same message.
The US president argued that Kimmel is “just one arm” of the Democratic National Committee and added that he will leave Jimmy Kimmel “rot in the low television hearings.”
