Two Portuguese musicians appointed to the Latin Grammy Music Awards

Fadista Camané is nominated with the album “Live at CCB – tribute to José Mário Branco”, in the category of “Best Music Album of Portuguese Language Roots”, while January is a candidate for the Latin Grammy of “Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese”, with the album “Fugacy”.

Camané had already appointed to the Latin Grammy in 2020, along with pianist Mario Laginha, with the album “Here is quiet”, from the fado repertoire.

For the musician January, this is a debut in the nominations in the Grammy Latinoswhich arrives with the third of original soil.

Currently working in a new album, which should be edited in 2026, January is also dedicated to music production and ‘sound design’.

Bad Bunny leads nominations on the Latin Grammy

The 26th edition of the Latin Grammy is led by Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny, with 12 nominations, by the album “Debí take bad photos (DTMF)”.
