Atletico-GO and Avaí faced each other for the 26th round of Serie B of the Brazilian Championship, this Tuesday (16/09), and the game had an impressive goal in the first half. 27 minutes, the right-back Marcos Viniciusfrom Avaí, risked a long distance and side kick, surprising goalkeeper Paulo Vítor and opening the scoring for the visiting team at the Antonio Accioly stadium in Goiânia (GO).
The great goal went viral on the internet and was one of the main subjects of the sports night on social networks.

At break, Marcos Vinicius gave an interview to the channel “ESPN” and commented on the goal:

Marcos Vinícius: Career and Times
Marcos Vinícius da Silva Santos, better known as Marcos Vinícius, was born on March 26, 1997, in Emilianópolis, in the state of São Paulo. The 28 -year -old is right -handed and is 1.76m. Formed in the base categories of São Paulo, Grêmio and Atlético Tubarão, he began his professional career for Atletico Tubarão in the 2017 Paranaense Championship, where he quickly established himself as a starter. In May of the same year, he joined the Brusque cast to play in Serie D, but returned to Tubarão for the following season.
In May 2018, he was presented at Chapecoense of Serie A of the Brazilian Championship, and debuted in the first division on October 14, 2018, starting as a starter in the 1-0 loss against Vitória. The following year, little used, it was loaned to Criciúma.
In July 2020, seeking new opportunities, he moved abroad for the first time, signing with Vilafranquense, from the second division of Portugal. He returned to Brazil in July 2021, with about six months without a club, until he was held with Maringá on December 9.
In April 2022, he was loaned to ABC, of Serie C, where he stood out as an absolute starter and helped the team win access. Returning to Maringá in 2023, he maintained the starting position while the club reached the final of the Paraná Championship.
In April 2023, Marcos Vinícius, along with Matheus Bianqui and Vilar, was loaned to Coritiba, who was in the first division, by the end of the year, but the loan ended in advance on July 7, 2023.
In 2024, after highlighting Maringá in the Paraná Championship, he was loaned again, this time to Avaí, where he scored his first goal as a professional and was one of the team’s big names in Serie B. With an important role in the cast, he was bought by the Santa Catarina club, permanently signing until December 2025.
