The House on Wednesday (17.Set.2025) The urgent request to discuss the bill that amnesty those condemned by the acts of vandalism in Brasilia on January 8. The proposal may benefit the former president (PL).

The text that had the urgency analyzed is one presented by the deputy (Republicans-RJ) in 2023.

The proposal, the way it is, grants amnesty to all involved in acts since October 30, 2022. That is, it does not include only those who were in the Praça dos Três Powers on January 8, 2023.

The president of Casa Baixa (Republicans-PB), who will now appoint a rapporteur for deputies to reach a substitute consensus bill. Only after that will the text really be voted on in the plenary.
