For the first time in the state, the Forum brought to the public the opportunity to learn and exchange experiences with managers, technicians, athletes and authorities. Among the highlights were three heavy names from Brazilian sport: Lars Grael (candle), André Heller (volleyball) and Magic Paula (basketball), world champions and Olympic medalists who shared their overcoming trajectories and achievements.
The program was also attended by Governor Gladson Cameli, Deputy Governor Mailza Assis, CBC President Paulo Maciel, as well as Acre’s Secretary of Sport and Leisure, Ney Amorim, and other authorities linked to the sports sector.
In addition to the lectures, participants had free access to activities and lunch offered during the meeting. The initiative is part of a series of CBC national events, which has traveled 20 Brazilian states since September 2023, bringing together almost 11,000 people and strengthening the athlete training program.
In Acre, the Forum symbolized not only a space for training, but also an advance in strengthening public policies to encourage sports.
