Rayza Emanuelle Oliveira Souza, 26, was found dead on Thursday night (18) in a motel room located in Via Chico Mendes, Triangulo Velho neighborhood, according to Rio Branco district. The victim was found naked, with bleeding in the mouth and a pillow over the head.
According to the delegate Leonardo Ribeiro, from the Homicide and Protection of People (DHPP) Police Station, there is initially no confirmation of crime. “If the cadaverous report points to signs of violence, an inquiry will be instituted. If it configures domestic violence, the case will go to Deam; otherwise it remains in DHPP,” he explained.

Rayza lived in the Estação Experimental neighborhood and worked for over a year as a call girl at Via Verde. She also presented herself on social networks as a “custom selling expert”. According to residents, the young woman had tried to study nursing technique, but, without financial conditions, returned to prostitution to support the family.
The victim left two young children. On social networks, Rayza shared routine moments with her children, including shopping, meals and walks. On Thursday (17), just a day before he died, he published a trip to the gym, a police report against his mother, medicines sought at the health post and home preparations, revealing the daily care he kept with his family.
The case is still under investigation, and the authorities await the outcome of the cadaverous report to clarify the circumstances of death and define if there was a crime. Rayza’s death generated commotion on social networks, especially among friends and family, who highlight the care and love of the girl for their children.
