Three dogs died after being inside a pet shop vehicle for about 1:30 am on Wednesday morning (11). The case occurred in the São Domingo neighborhood in Americana (SP).
According to information from SSP (Secretariat of Public Security of São Paulo), the owner of the establishment claimed that he had to make another delivery to a distant address and, therefore, left the car for about an hour and a half.
After the incident, they were referred to the Veterinary Medicine Patricia Comalato, which stated that the probable cause of deaths was hyperthermia (excessive increase in body temperature). In the statement, she states that Solange brought the animals inside the transport boxes, already in death.
According to information from the report, on other occasions, the delivery of the three dogs – Crystal (10 -year -old shitzu), Luna (8 -year -old shitzu) and Fofão (11 -year -old Lhasa Apso) – was done around noon.
On Wednesday (11), Solange only appeared on the property at 17h, when they were already lifeless. The case was registered as an environment – practicing animal abuse act in the 1st DP of Americana.
