The so-called Golden Dome, a planned rocket defense system on four levels, is a prestige project by US President Donald Trump. In May, the US government presented some details about the project for the first time and explained that the costs for the “golden dome” were estimated at $ 175 billion. However, independent experts come to the conclusion that this sum will far from be enough to implement Trump’s visions – and that the costs are simply not possible at the moment.
