Prada, Dolce and Gabanna, Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Ferragamo and Bottega Veneta are among the brands that will present their women’s collections for spring/summer season 2026
Fashion Week It starts on Tuesday (23) dominated by the latest collections of the late designer and new faces in the brands Gucci and Versace. Prada, Dolce and Gabanna, Max Mara, Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Ferragamo and Bottega Veneta are among the brands that will present their female collections for the spring/summer season of 2026. But the great star of the event will undoubtedly be Giorgio Armani, the Italian stylist killed at the beginning of the month at the age of 91, and that contributed to the “fashion capital”.
“We celebrate Milan in Memorian Fashion Week of one of its founders: Giorgio Armani,” said the director of the Italian Fashion Chamber of Commerce, Carlo Capasa, who praised the designer’s “creative, business and human” qualities. However, even before his death, Milan was already preparing to pay tribute to the Italian, whose mark worshiped by the stars of Hollywood completes half a century. The Pinacoteca de Brera, where its latest collections will parade, will receive from Tuesday an exhibition in which 150 famous creations of the designer can be admired, a project in which Armani worked “until the last minute”, according to the group.
This week will also be marked by the long -awaited premieres of various designers, including Demna at Gucci. After a decade in Balenciaga, the Georgian designer has the mission to rekindle sales of the Italian brand owned by Kering. Gucci is not on the official calendar of Milan parades, but there is a private event scheduled for Tuesday night. “If I understood well, it is a presentation, a film that will reflect the vision of Demna, its interpretation of Gucci,” Kering’s new executive director Luca de Meo told the press.
“It will be something a little different. They haven’t seen me yet,” he said. Dario Vitale will make his debut at Versace after replacing Donatella Versace on April 1, who was creative director of the brand for almost 30 years. Nor is any parade for the brand, which a few weeks after Vitale’s arrival was purchased by Prada. Instead, on Thursday night there will be an “intimate event where Dario Vitale’s first collection for the brand will be revealed”. A unique presentation, which embodies the foundations of Versace and reflects Vitale’s new language, according to the program.
