Investigators reveal that the orders for the murders of authorities departed from inside the prisons and were passed on to Janeferson Aparecido Mariano Gomes, known as nefo
The former delegate-general of, murdered in, had been monitored by criminals for at least a month. He was also in the sights of the first command of the capital (), according to a 2024 prosecutor report that detailed plans of attacks against authorities. The document, revealed this Sunday (21), by the program “Fantástico”, TV Globowas produced in the context of an investigation on CCP members who commanded the so -called restricted tune – a faction sector responsible for organizing redemptions and attacks against public agents.
According to the investigators, the orders for the murders departed from within the prisons and were passed on to Janeferson Aparecido Mariano Gomes, the nefo. On his cell phone, the Public Prosecution Service found the information that gave rise to the 2024 Bate Ball, whose item 16 directly quoted the chase to Ruy Ferraz Fontes and the prosecutor Lincoln Gakiya.
Investigations also showed that the former delegate had been monitored for at least a month. The surveillance system of Praia Grande City Hall registered the white car that chased Ruy on the day of the murder circulating around the city since August 18, always during the week, when he was working at the Secretariat of Administration. The cameras caught the vehicle repeating the same paths as the former delegate, in apparent routine mapping for the ambush.
Images also revealed the dynamics of the crime. Before Ruy left the work, the killers were already preparing the ambush: a black SUV stopped in front of the building where he worked, while, two kilometers away, cameras caught the white car – the same used on the day of the murder – waiting to accompany the escape.
Threat history
In the report, prosecutor Lincoln Gakiya recalls that the former delegate had been threatened and sworn with death by the CCP since 2006, when he investigated the faction attack series in Sao Paulo. In 2019, shortly after assuming as a general delegate, Ruy led the transfer of 22 CCP leaders to federal maximum security prisons. Following, the police arrested the group known as “Tram of 14”. In an audience about the case, Ruy himself revealed that his name was on a list of criminals’ targets.
“Police made an investigation and found that there was in the middle of the CCP, an order to kill some authorities, and my name would be between them. It was a letter between them determining these deaths,” said the former deposit in statement in 2019. Despite the historical, he did not even ask for protection. According to the São Paulo government, current legislation does not provide for escort for retired police, and Ruy did not use a armored car at the time of the crime.
