Lamine Yamal’s father shouts by his son’s name before Dembélé’s revelation as the best in the world

Ousmane Dembélé was distinguished this Monday with the world’s best player trophy, delivered by Ronaldinho Gaúcho, in the Golden Ball gala, held at the Théâtre Du Châtelet, in Paris and organized by the magazine France Football.

But an unusual moment eventually marked the ceremony. In a video that quickly spread through social networks, the voice of Mounir Nasoui, Lamine Yamal’s father, is clearly shouted enthusiastically, certain that the prize would be handed over to Barcelona’s young talent. The expectation, however, was not confirmed: Yamal ended in second place, behind Dembélé.
