In a cute red beetle with legendary dots (until there are seven, two, or lost them) you have the best allies. However, a lot of aphids are consumed not only by adult ladybugs, but also by their larvae. They will blow up and turn beetles in the summer. And only when they successfully hibernate will they be able to reproduce further in the next year.
If you want great helpers in the garden, help them survive the winter. They spend it in a state of rigidity, the cold and the absence of food do not mind, but frost and moisture do not survive. Ladybugs therefore crawl into gaps under stones and old stumps, under moss cushions and old grass. In the garden they find a suitable stash under the mulch on the flower beds, in a pile of leaves or in a piece of uncut old age. You can also prepare wooden houses filled with hay or dry moss, with a cracks instead of the entrance that you hide under the trees in the leaves.
