The rapporteur of the proposal to review the penalties of the condemned by undemocratic actsPaulinho da Força (Solidarity-SP), resumed, this Wednesday (24), the schedule of meetings with party benches. At the same time, Paulinho still tries to build an agreement between the chamber and Senate Presidencies.
The idea of the rapporteur is to ensure survival to the proposal after any approval in the House of Representatives. Deputies fear that the bill has a similar end to that of PEC (Proposed Amendment to the Constitution)which ended up buried in the Senate.
“It has a concern of the benches, which I felt today listening to all the benches … This concern to vote and the Senate holds. As I am working to pacify the country, I could not let this war… it would not be a war, but this confusion that is here between Senate and House today …”, told journalists.
The rapporteur also said he felt from the deputies that, if there is no deal with the Senate, the matter should not be voted. Paulinho da Força’s expectation is to vote next Tuesday (30).
This Wednesday, the rapporteur of the matter met with PT, PSDB, Federation União/PP and we can. At the meeting with the Union Brazil and PP bench the dissatisfaction of the deputies was evident with the wear and tear resulting from the processing of the PEC.
