Deputies charge from the mayor, (-PB), a firm reaction to what they consider with the overthrow unanimously. The lack of a harder response, they say, creates for Motta the risk of seeing his support in charge of the house.
Leaders of great parties and cardinals of Centrão discussed in recent days a menu of Senate responses, including locking projects of interest to senators and even acting at the INSS CPI to direct investigations against the Senate. In addition, they claim that the penalty -reducing bill to condemned by scammer acts will only walk after a concertation.
The PEC (Proposed Amendment to the Constitution) of the armor, which conditioned the opening of criminal proceedings against congressmen to an authorization from the Congress itself, was approved by 353 votes to 134, with personal commitment from the mayor.

Deputies complain that the senators not only buried the proposal, but openly criticized the deputies and the House as a whole, accusing them protecting bad guys. In this sense, they charge Motta to position themselves in defense of the house.

Four leaders heard by the report say that from now on, they will be suspicious whenever there is a signaling of closed agreements on important projects. Alcolumbre prohibited the disclosure of this information to the CPMI (Mixed Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry), on the grounds of privacy. An ally from Motta says that if there was indeed an agreement, he needs to expose it publicly to protect the deputies. This parliamentarian recalls that it was the deputies who elected him to the presidency of the House, not alcoholumbre.
A frequent interlocutor of the mayor, however, says he will not do so publicly. This Thursday (25), when questioned, Motta said that the Senate accompanied the articulation to approve PEC ,.
“There is no feeling of any betrayal. Because we have the condition of knowing that it does not necessarily have to agree 100% with what the other approves. We have had several episodes in which the Senate has disagreed with the House and the Chamber has disagreed with the Senate. This is natural to democracy and the functioning of Congress,” he said.
Two allies close to Motta say his relationship with alcohumbre is also shudder. Since the two were elected in February, the relationship was described as very narrow – they participated in institutional events and trips together, as well as maintaining almost daily contact.
Until the afternoon of Thursday (24), the deputy’s allies said that Alcolumbre was not even answering Motta’s calls. On Wednesday night, however, the two participated in a dinner in honor of the Federal Supreme Court Minister (), who left the Presidency of the Court. According to an event participant, they interacted and talked throughout the night.
The rapporteur of the bill for the reduction of penalties to the convicted by the scammer acts, deputy (Solidarity-SP), says that there is suspicion that the proposal is approved by the deputies and then shelved in the Senate, which increases resistance to the text. “You can’t pacify the country if the House and Senate are at war,” he said.
A meeting to deal with the subject was scheduled for Wednesday night after dinner with the STF ministers, but Alcolumbre asked to cancel the meeting. Paulinho said he will try again next week, because the bill will not walk without agreement with the Senate.
