Iranian Justice reported on Monday that Bahman Choubi Asl collaborated ‘closely’ with Israeli intelligence and had ‘privileged access to vital and sovereign databases’ of the Islamic Republic’
O announced on Monday (29) that he executed a man described as “one of the most important spies” of convicted of accusations of working for the enemy of the Islamic Republic. This is the first time the Iranian authorities mention the name of the executed man, Bahman Choubi ASL, although the judiciary has not yet reported the date of its detention. Iran and Israel crashed in June acaused by Israeli bombings against Iranian territory, directed mainly against military and nuclear areas.
Iran responded with the release of missiles and drones against Israel. After the end of hostilities, Iran promised quick judgments against people suspected of collaborating with Israel. Tehran announced several spying arrests and the execution of several declared guilty people to work with the Mossad, the Israeli foreign intelligence service. Iranian court reported on Monday that Choubi Asl “closely” collaborated with Israeli intelligence and had “privileged access to vital and sovereign databases” of the Islamic Republic.
The Israeli attacks during the war in June killed Iran’s military commanders, nuclear program scientists and hundreds of people, including civilians, authorities. In early August, the judiciary announced the opening of an investigation and that 20 people were arrested, accused of bonds with Israel. Iran reported last month that Roozbeh Vadi, a man accused of providing information about a nuclear scientist murdered during the war.
