Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Court, determined on Monday (29) the progression of penalty of Daniel Silveira from the semi -open regime to the open regime. The change occurs after September 23 and the sentenced, more than 25% of the sentence, as well as a criminological examination that pointed out aptitude to resume work activities.
Sentenced in April 2022 to 8 years and 9 months for threat to the Democratic Rule of Law and coercion in the course of the process, Silveira already has 4 years, 1 month and 26 days of compliance and paid $ 271,000 in fines.
For Moraes, “all legal requirements are present” for the change of regime, according to the document obtained by the G1.

In the open regime, Silveira will have to prove that he is working, using his anklet and complying with the rules of collection during periods of time off.
