The PP summit defines as Saturday (4) the deadline for the minister (sports) to leave the government (PT). Originally the deadline was this Wednesday (1).

União Brasil and PP announced on the 2nd, almost a month ago, two movements that have implications for the relationship with the government: the decision to mandate and the amnesty support of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) for the condemnation for leading the coup plot.

At the time, two parties stated that all “holders of mandates” should leave the government by September 30, otherwise they will be expelled. This means that they should leave positions Fufuca and Celso Sabino (Tourism), federal deputies licensed by the PP and União Brasil, respectively.

Despite this decision, the two parties do not intend to give up the control of other positions in the government, such as in, in the San Francisco and Parnaíba Valleys Development Company), Telebras and the Post Office, as well as politicians in the second and third level of ministries.

União Brasil even anticipated the departure date. Sabino delivered a letter with resignation, but should accompany Lula at an official event in Belém this Thursday (2). He wants to leave the Senate candidate for Pará, a state for which he was elected federal deputy.

Now it is expected to leave the government this weekend. For now, Lula has not taken the initiative to exonerate them. Fufuca and Sabino try to convince their parties to authorize an extension of the time of permanence in the government.

In the case of União Brasil, the opinion of Senate President David Alcolumbre (AP) will also be weighted.
