The Israeli Navy contacted the Gaza help flotilla and asked them to change the course, the Foreign Ministry of Israel said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Navy informed the flotilla that she was approaching an active combat zone and violating a legal naval blockade, and reiterated the offer of transferring any help peacefully through safe channels to Gaza, the statement said.
