Criminal lawyer Luiz Fernando Sá and Souza Pacheco, 51, was found dead on the morning of Thursday (2) in São Paulo. The information was confirmed by the Brazilian Bar Association-Sectional São Paulo (OAB-SP), which decreed three days of mourning in honor of the jurist.
With 30 years of career, Pacheco was known for acting in cases of great repercussion, such as the monthly case, in which he defended former Deputy José Genoino. He was also founding partner of the prerogative group, focused on defending the prerogatives of law.

Throughout the professional career, he held prominent positions in the OAB, including the presidency of the OAB-SP Prerogatives Commission, as well as acting as an advisor to the OAB-SP, the Federal Council of the OAB and the Institute of Defense Defense (IDDD). In recent years, he worked in his own office, located in the neighborhood of Itaim Bibi, in the south of São Paulo.
OAB-SP said it was communicated on Pacheco’s disappearance on Wednesday night, after he did not respond to calls and messages. The institution lamented the death and highlighted its important contribution to the law and the defense of citizens’ rights.
