Taylor Swift will use George Michael’s single from her new album

On your new album, “The Life Of A Show Girl“, Taylor Swift35, decided to honor the famous British singer George Michael, popular for the duo Wham!.

In an interview with TMZ, Kenny Goss, former English singer, explained to TMZ that this is an interpolation, that is, Michael’s melody will be heard intertwined with Taylor’s melody. The track called “Father Figure”, the same title of Michael’s 1987 song. In the credits of the blonde album, the song is composers, Karl “Max Martin” Sandberg, Karl “Shellback” Schuster and George Michael.

For the tabloid, Goss commented that the musician would be proud of, although he never met the artist.

“Father Figure” was a hit of George Michael’s first solo album, “Faith”, 1987, becoming a hit with the release. The single occupied 1st place at Billboard Hot 100 and entered the charts in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Belgium and other countries, becoming a milestone in music in the 1980s.

Written and produced by the artist, the lyrics speaks of a promise to take care and give unconditional love to the partner, unlike other disappointments of the past. He died in 2016 at 53 years of natural causes.
