An entourage of Brazilians will participate this week in an event at the ten years of the Encyclical Laudato Si, which deals with climate and environment and was released by Pope Francis, killed in April this year.
The event, named “raising hope” (raising hope), will take place from Wednesday (1st) to Friday (3). With the presence of the, will take place at the Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo, summer residence of the Catholic Church leader.
The Brazilian delegation will have the Environment Minister, the COP30 envoy to combat misinformation, Frederico Assis, and the president of CNBB (National Conference of Bishops of Brazil), Dom Jaime Spengler.
The Pope was invited by President Lula to COP30, who will take place in Belém in November, but has not yet confirmed his presence.
