The interdictions were performed after surveys in 18 locations. Read below the establishments that have been closed cautiously (urgently and provisional) and where they are located:
- Distribuidora drink – Bela Vista, in São Paulo;
- BBR Supermarket – Bela Vista;
- Bar and Restaurant Ministro – Jardins, in São Paulo;
- Alley of Espeta – Itaim Bibi, in São Paulo;
- Torres Bar – Mooca, in São Paulo;
- Weekend Cellar – M’Boi Mirim, in São Paulo;
- Empório Santos – Dutra City, in São Paulo;
- Lelê Adega – Osasco, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo;
- Adega the brothers – Osasco;
- Brazil Excellance Commercial Distribuidora de Bebidas – São Bernardo do Campo, at ABC Paulista;
- Villa Jardim – Sao Bernardo do Campo.
Some establishments also had the state registration canceled:
- Commercial and Distributor of Food and Beverage Distributor (4 registrations);
- Brazil Excellance and Beverage Exporter;
- BBR Supermarkets;
- FEG ALVES MERCEIARY AND CELEHERE;
- Minister’s snack bar.
São Paulo has 15 confirmed cases
The Ministry of Health reported on Monday (6.out) that Brazil has 217 cases on suspicion of methanol poisoning after ingestion of alcohol. They are 17 confirmed cases e 200 in investigation. There are two confirmed deaths in São Paulo and 12 are under analysis.
São Paulo concentrates 82.49%, with 15 confirmed cases and 164 under investigation. Paraná has 2 confirmed cases and 4 under analysis. Bahia, Federal District and Mato Grosso ruled out the cases under investigation.
Suspects (which need a report to be confirmed) are divided as follows:
- Pernambuco – 10 cases;
- Mato Grosso do Sul – 5 cases;
- Ceará – 3 cases;
- Goiás – 3 cases;
- Piauí – 3 cases;
- Rio Grande do Sul – 2 cases;
- ACRE – 1 case;
- Holy Spirit – 1 case;
- Minas Gerais – 1 case;
- Paraíba – 1 case;
- Rio de Janeiro – 1 case;
- Rondônia – 1 case.
Death
According to the ministry, the deaths investigated are distributed as follows:
- 6 in São Paulo;
- 3 in Pernambuco;
- one in Mato Grosso do Sul;
- one in Paraíba;
- One in Ceará.
