Silva’s appointment was approved on September 19th at a meeting of Comap, a council created by the City of São Paulo that examines the history of candidates for positions of trust in the City of São Paulo.
The appointment, however, did not materialize. “The professional was approved by Comap as he did not have a conviction that would prevent him from holding public office. However, after a thorough analysis conducted by the mayor’s office, he will not be appointed”, says the note from the Nunes administration.
Silva had already been appointed by the Secretary of Urban Security, Orlando Morando, when mayor of São Bernardo do Campo. He even held a position on the board of directors at the Department of Transport and Public Roads in the city of ABC.
