Clubs will face each other on December 20th at Hard Rock Stadium; match is valid for the Spanish Championship
LaLiga, the main Spanish football championship, confirmed on Wednesday (8.Oct.2025) that the match between Villarreal and , valid for the 17th round of the competition, will be held in Miami, in the United States, on December 20, 2025. The 2 teams will face each other at the Hard Rock Stadium, with a capacity for 65,000 people.
“With this game, we take a historic step that takes LaLiga and Spanish football into a new dimension”said Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga.
LALIGA NO BRAZIL
Brazil is also on the radar of Spanish football’s main competition. In April 2025, LaLiga’s managing director for Latin America, Marc Tarradas, stated that the country is in the plans. A classic between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Maracanã was cited as a “dream” of the league, although the immediate priority is the North American market.
