Bregenz – Dornbirn’s mayor Markus Fäßler (SPÖ) sharply criticizes the process of restructuring the Vorarlberg hospital landscape. This is not conducted on an equal footing; there are no “clear goals and realistic calculations”. The city is not closed to innovations, but demands transparent negotiations at eye level, said Fäßler in an interview with the APA. Clarity is also needed as to whether there should only be one hospital per region (north and south) in the country in the future.
