Government updates average fuel price table

New values ​​come into force from October 16, 2025 and will serve as a basis for taxation

Confaz (National Council for Financial Policy) released this Friday (October 10, 2025) the new values ​​of the PMPF (Weighted Average Price for the Final Consumer) of fuels for States and the Federal District.

The prices will come into force from October 16th and serve as a basis for calculating ICMS (Tax on the Circulation of Goods and Services). Here is the (PDF – 192 kB) published on DOU (Official Gazette of the Union).

The table presents prices for the following fuels: QAV (aviation kerosene), AEHC (hydrated ethyl alcohol fuel), CNG (vehicular natural gas), GNI (industrial natural gas) and fuel oil.

Tocantins has the highest price for QAV, with a value of R$6.83 per liter. Rio records the lowest value for this fuel, set at R$ 2.44.

For AEHC, Amazonas has the highest price, reaching R$5.44 per liter, while Mato Grosso do Sul offers the lowest price (R$4.06/liter).

The Federal District has the most expensive CNG in the country, with a price of R$6.78 per m³. Amazonas has the lowest price for this fuel, at R$2.95 per m³.

Only 2 states present values ​​for GNI in the table: Amazonas (R$ 1.78/m³) and Mato Grosso (R$ 3.67/m³).
