Heineken Group launches university for the general public

Starting in November, the corporate education platform will open access to beer and professional development programs for interested parties aged 18 to 29

will open free online courses from its University to the general public from November 2025. The educational platform, previously exclusive to company employees, will initially offer 2 programs: Beer Expertdedicated to brewing knowledge, and the WeLabaimed at young people aged 18 to 29. The initiative was announced on Thursday (9.Oct.2025).

The opening of the educational platform marks an expansion of the Group’s activities in the educational sector. The courses offered cover areas such as business, sales, innovation, digital and technology, aiming to democratize access to knowledge.

Offering courses to people external to the company is part of Heineken’s strategy of fostering market development and encouraging ongoing training.

The corporate university intends to gradually introduce new knowledge paths, expanding the reach of the initiative.

Interested parties will be able to register and participate in educational programs through the company’s official University website from November this year. Click to access the website.

O Beer Expert is aimed at enthusiasts and professionals interested in the beer universe. The program features dynamic materials on beer history, brewing processes and tasting techniques.

The program WeLabin turn, was created for young people between 18 and 29 years old who seek personal and professional development. Conducted by , a company specializing in training days, WeLab provides a 4-week experience with videos, videocasts, quizzes, games and live meetings, covering topics such as self-knowledge, creativity and adaptability to the job market.

O WeLab has already reached 1,200 young people in different Brazilian cities, such as Passos (MG), Igarassu (PE), São Paulo (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Salvador (BA). The 1st online edition of the program is scheduled for the period from November to December 2025, with 1,000 young people expected to participate.

The company has not yet released information about possible prerequisites for participating in the courses, in addition to the specific age range for the course. WeLabnor details about the total duration of the program Beer Expert.

From the launch in November, the brewery plans to progressively expand the offer of courses and knowledge trails. THE Beer Expert will be continuously available on the platform, while the 1st online edition of WeLab will take place from November to December this year.
