The crash occurred in the lipe area near the border with Ukraine at 19.20 Moscow time (18.20 CEST). The machine crashed the moment the crew was going to land. “The aircraft collapsed in an uninhabited area. The flight took place without sharp ammunition,” the ministry said, adding that there was no major damage on Earth.
The MiG-31 is a two-digit fighter aircraft specialized in air battles with other aircraft.
