The federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) sent a letter, last Thursday (9), to the Minister of Justice in Italy, Carlo Nordioannouncing that he will begin a hunger strike until his extradition is denied.
“Because I am absolutely certain that you did not make the best decision, today I am starting a hunger strike that only you can end, denying my extradition, which will set me free, which is the right thing to do,” wrote Zambelli.
In the letter, the parliamentarian claims to be the victim of “political persecution” and also indicated that the minister’s decision would put him “hand in hand with the devil himself”.
