In celebration of 60 years of existence, Mineirão will host the Giant Challenge. A team captained by Ronaldinho Gaúcho faces a team with Alex as commander. The confrontation will be this Saturday (11/10), at 4pm. The festive game will be broadcast, exclusively on open TV, by TV Globo for the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte. Tempo will broadcast on YouTube.
On the athletic side, names that were part of the conquest of the Libertadores, in 2013. On the celestial team, players who made history in the Triple Crown, in 2003. In addition to important names in the histories of Cruzeiro and Galo, each of the teams will have a representative from América-MG.
Before the ball rolls and at halftime, there will be a performance by DJ Ronald, son of Ronaldo Fenômeno, who will be one of the event’s honorees. After the festive game, it will be the turn of Samba 90 Graus, a project by singers Netinho de Paula, Chrigor and Márcio Art, to take the stage.
The gates will open at 2pm. The kick-off of the game between the teams led by Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Alex is scheduled for 4pm.

The Pampulha Giant will be divided into two sides. In the southern half, there will be Cruzeiro fans. The northern half will be the black side, part of the Atleticans. Ticket sales started in May. Entries range from R$56.50 to R$452 (see below).
