The Brazilian team has been putting on a great performance this Friday morning (10/10), in a friendly against South Korea. Carlo Ancelotti’s men beat the Asian team 5-0, with two goals from Estêvão, two from Rodrygo and one from Vinicius Jr.
The goal from Real Madrid’s number 7 came in the 31st minute of the 2nd half, after a devastating counterattack by the Brazilian team. During the celebration, Vinicius Jr. had a more reserved celebration, including a kiss for the camera.
Due to the news in recent days, the internet quickly speculated that the kiss had been for Virgínia, an influencer with whom the player had a brief affair. The affair ended when conversations that Vinicius Jr. had been having with other women were leaked.
The player himself admitted the parallel interactions in a long text published on his social networks, with an apology to Virgínia.
Despite internet speculation, it is not possible to say that the goal celebration was a tribute to the influencer.

What did Vinicius Jr. say about the end of his relationship with Virginia?
Vini Jr used his social networks, this Wednesday (08/20), to comment on the end of his involvement with the influencer Virginia Fonseca. The player acknowledged mistakes, mentioned the bond that existed between the two and apologized after the repercussions of the case.
– Even though we weren’t officially a couple yet, there was a sincere connection. I’m not ashamed to admit that I was careless, I didn’t respond in the best way and I ended up disappointing. For this reason, I want to publicly apologize – said the athlete in an excerpt of the statement.
A day earlier, Virgínia had already commented on the matter in an interview with columnist Leo Dias. The influencer confirmed that the two were getting to know each other, but made it clear that the relationship had come to an end.
– Vini and I were getting to know each other. It wasn’t anything serious, but now we really don’t have anything left, neither something light nor serious – he declared.
The controversy gained strength after the publication of prints of conversations between Vini Jr. and model Day Magalhães, revealed by Leo Dias.
