Bizarre intervention by firefighters in Turčianske Teplice: You won’t believe WHAT they pulled out of the concrete ring

Members of the Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) from the Fire Station in Turčianske Teplice were rescuing an ostrich that fell into a concrete ring in the yard of a family home on Sunday (June 21). They managed to get the bird out. It was reported on Tuesday on the social network by the Regional Directorate of HaZZ in Žilina.

The ostrich was located at a depth of approximately 150 centimeters. “Firemen pulled him out using a short, wide strap that they slipped under the animal’s body. Subsequently, the ring was secured to prevent further possible falls and injuries.” stated HaZZ.
