(Reuters) – United States President Donald Trump told CNN on Wednesday that he would consider allowing Israeli forces to resume fighting in Gaza if Hamas did not live up to its end of the ceasefire agreement.
“Israel will be back on these streets as soon as I say the word. If Israel could come in and take them out, they would,” Trump told CNN in a brief phone call when asked what would happen if Hamas refused to disarm.
