The State Department of Criminal Investigations (Deic), of the State of , carried out on the morning of this Thursday (16) an operation against a gang stealing cell phones, wedding rings and motorcycles in the central and southern zones of the capital of São Paulo and in (DF). The targets are suspected of involvement in cases of robbery. At least 43 search and seizure warrants are being carried out, in addition to arrest warrants. There is no information about detainees at this time.
According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), during the execution of the warrants, a suspect reacted to the approach of police officers in the community of Paraisópolis, in the south zone of São Paulo. He was hit and died at the scene. The Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP) was called to the scene. Also according to the police, Guilherme Heisenberg da Silva Nogueira, known as Bronx, was part of the scheme to receive and supply weapons from Suedna Barbosa Carneiro, the “Main of crime”. During the action, a civil police officer was shot in the vest.
According to Deic, the operation is an offensive against the structure of the gang specialized in stealing and stealing cell phones, wedding rings and motorcycles. It is carried out after a year and a half of investigations and surveys, with information that emerged from the arrests of those involved in the scheme. In total, over 170 police officers participated, with the support of the Special Reaction Group (GER) and the Tactical Air Service helicopter (SAT).
