Trump allows CIA undercover operations in Venezuela

Washington – US President Donald Trump has authorized the CIA to carry out covert operations in Venezuela. The American head of state confirmed a report on Wednesday New York Times about a secret instruction. The USA is thus increasing the pressure on the socialist government of President Nicolas Maduro. Trump massively increased the military presence in the region in August and sent several warships to the Caribbean. The US government justified the operation with the fight against drug cartels.
