A fire on the 13th floor of a building in Cascavel, in the state of Paraná, Brazil, left at least five people injured last Wednesday. The flames spread quickly throughout the apartment, forcing some residents to take desperate actions to escape.
Stunning images are circulating on social media showing a woman hanging outside the building, trying to save her mother and niece. According to the Terra portal, the act of courage took place while firefighters were preparing for the rescue.
The victims were rescued and taken to the hospital, and authorities are investigating the causes of the fire.
