Fashion Show took over the spotlight last Wednesday (10/15), with the second show since returning from a six-year hiatus. The parade that shook the fashion world, especially in the 1990s and 2000s, always featured the notable presence of Brazilian models among the famous Angels. This year, the show once again has Adriana Lima and Daiane Sodré in the casting. The portal LeoDias remembers other Brazilian top models who made history on the Victoria’s Secret catwalk.
This year, 32-year-old model Daiane Sodré made her debut as an Angel in the traditional lingerie fashion show, joining the legendary Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrósio who also participated in the event.

Gisele Bündchen marked a generation as Angel from Victoria’s Secret. The model debuted in the brand’s fashion show in 1999 and remained on the catwalks until 2006. Currently, the gaucho is retired from fashion shows.
Adriana Lima is the Brazilian with the highest number of appearances in the Victoria’s Secret fashion shows. Like Gisele, the Bahian debuted with the brand in 1999 and returned to the catwalk in several editions, being highlighted by opening the show in 2003, 2007, 2008 and 2010.
Alessandra Ambrósio is also another notable name when it comes to Angels. The top model debuted at the lingerie brand’s show in 2000, where she modeled for several years in a row. Off the catwalk since 2017, Ambrosio returned for this year’s show.
Izabel Goulart also made her career with the brand, where she remained for 10 years, from 2006 until 2016.
Isabeli Fontana, despite never receiving the title of Angel, debuted at the Fashion Show in 2003 and participated in almost all fashion shows until then.
Lais Ribeiro is part of the new generation of Brazilian models at Victoria’s Secret. The top model debuted in 2010 and was an Angel from 2015 to 2021.
