Ulm – Licking toad poison for a high experience – experts don’t think that’s a good idea. Toad slime contains toxins that have an effect on the heart, comparable to the well-known digitalis toxins from the foxglove, as the pharmacologist and toxicologist Holger Barth from the University of Ulm explained on Tuesday with a view to Halloween. Barth spoke of a “strange and quite dangerous trend” that is now coming from Australia to the USA to Europe.
