There is evidence of crime in the death of Vagos councilor Susana Gravato

There are signs of crime in the death of Vagos municipal councilor Susana Gravato, who was found lifeless at home on Tuesday afternoon. The case is already being investigated by the PJ.

Susana Gravato, 49 years old, was this Tuesday at home. The alert to 112 was given at 3:08 pm and firefighters found the victim’s husband performing resuscitation maneuvers.

Death was declared by an INEM doctor and little is known, for now, about the circumstances under which it occurred. There will, however, be signs of crimeso the Judiciary Police are already investigating.

Municipality of Vagos decrees three days of municipal mourning

“In this hour of pain, we address to her family, friends, colleagues and everyone who worked with her, our deepest condolences and our solidarity. Municipal Mourning was declared for three days, in her memory and public recognition”, wrote the municipality in a post on social media.

With a law degree, Susana Gravato, aged 49, practiced law and was a member of the PSD since 1994. In 2009, she was elected municipal deputy for the Vagos Primeiro movement, and, currently, served as councilor in the outgoing executive (PSD), responsible for environment, justice, general administration, social cohesion and health, among others.
