The presenter Angelica51, opened up about the difficulties of raising children in the face of technology and the rise of social networks.

During her participation in the Menotalks podcast, led by Silvia Ruiz and Mariliz Pereira Jorge, on Tuesday (21), she recalled the recent public exposure of the end of the relationship between one of the heirs, 17, and the influencer, 17.

“When he was heavily exposed, he suffered like a teenager would suffer. And I, as a mother, suffered for him, and I acted like an old-fashioned mother, who welcomes, gives advice”, she said.

Angélica also said that she does not interfere in her children’s romantic relationships. “I never imposed anything. We talk, [eles] They know they can count on us, but they, like any teenagers, are lost with social media,” he said.

Still on the podcast, 54’s wife said she was perplexed by the story. In May, Duda confirmed the end of her relationship with Benício, after leading a long fight on social media alongside other teenagers.

“I was very indignant, not about the dating, but about the girls fighting over boys. What shocked me most were the girls fighting over a boy who was my son, but it doesn’t matter. Fighting over a male, for God’s sake”, he explained.

The presenter also said that she had a conversation with her children about the subject. “I felt sorry for all the girls involved. I was genuinely worried about the girls. I wanted to cry,” she added.

Angélica says her daughter, Eva Huck, is also an influencer on social networks

In addition to Benício, Angélica is also the mother of Eva, 13, who, according to her, is also very influential in the digital environment. “My daughter is one of those people who does skincare, wears lipstick, is one of those who goes into the makeup store and freaks out. I’m like that annoying mother: ‘why are you doing that?, ‘take off that mascara to go to school’, ‘your skin is beautiful, you don’t need to wear foundation’. There was a moment when I felt uncomfortable being that mother”, she reported.

“I’m going to talk and I’m going to prohibit some things, because that’s the role of a mother. We see that this isn’t healthy. It’s not healthy for children to break into a makeup store. It’s not healthy for a child who doesn’t have anything on their skin to do skincare. Guys, it’s not possible”, she reflected.

Finally, the celebrity explained that balance is very difficult, as social networks increasingly take you to a place that you need to combat. “Everyone will learn, but at the cost of a lot of suffering,” he concluded.
